We are starting a new tradition at our church.  At the beginning of each year we will formally install the newly elected elders and commit them to the Lord.   Last Sunday we had the joy seeing our new elders, Mike Ebuen, and Aldwin Nogaliza, as well as all the leaders present, take an oath of commitment to serve faithfully and to live upright and godly lives.   The congregation also gave a pledged to support and pray for our leaders.   Before the event, we had an opportunity to thank our outgoing elders, Glen Guevara, Jiji Jumamoy and Jeng Omila for three years of excellent service, especially during the crucial time of building our new facility.   As a token of our appreciation, we gave each a $100 gift certificate to Olive Garden.  Because of work commitment, our other newly elected elder, Ryan Nishimoto, could not be at the event.
