On Saturday, February 28th we had our Children’s Ministry Annual Snow Trip.  For the third year in a row, it was held at the Soda Springs Ski Resort in Truckee, California.  But for the first time in the history of our annual snow trips we had over seventy people in attendance. The hills of Soda Springs were full of members, families and friends of Faith Bible Church of Vallejo. 

All who came were able to ski, snowboard, tube and if you were eight or under Planet Kids was the perfect fit.  Planet Kids was an area set aside for children to tube, ride a snow carousel, ski and snowboard.  Skiing and snowboarding lessons were also available. 

Weather, on the other hand, was a huge factor. Since it had not snowed in nearly three days the roads were completely clear.  And since no snow was in the forecast until late that evening, the sun was out for most of the day.  This left us with no choice but to not cancel the snow trip, as some initially considered, and enjoy a great day of snow activities and fellowship.
